RAV4 Models
The Toyota RAV4 crossover SUV is the first to feature the same unibody platform and features as its bigger siblings. It is therefore more durable and offers superior handling than other vehicles in the same class.
There are five trims to choose from. Each has its own set if features. Each trim level is intended for a specific purpose, but all include a standard set of safety equipment and technology that will keep you safe behind the wheel.
The base models are affordable with plenty of amenities. They have an adjustable steering wheel, an auto climate control system, and six-speaker CD stereos with AM/FM radio.
Leather upholstery can be added to the interior for an extra touch of style. You can add features like a rear-view cam, rear parking sensors and dual-zone climate control.
Other convenience features include a powerliftgate, blind spot monitors, rear cross traffic alert, and a powerliftgate. You can choose to have a moonroof installed and upgrade your wheels.
The XLE (or next-level) is an excellent choice if looking for a brand new RAV4. The XLE Convenience Package is $1,295 and includes a moonroof with wireless device charging and a JBL stereo system.
You can also get the XLE Premium package, which adds a powerliftgate, an eight-way adjustable power driver's seat, a leather-trimmed steering column, and SofTex synthetic skin. It costs $1,625. It's also equipped with an advanced safety system called the Intelligent Clearance Sonar, which can detect obstacles and slow the vehicle accordingly.
Lastly, the TRD Off-Road is the RAV4's most off-road-capable version, and it comes with a powerful Dynamic Torque Vectoring AWD system. It also has special shocks and struts, 18-inch TRD wheels, all-terrain tires, a steel skid plate, and a TRD-themed interior.
The 2020 RAV4 is an excellent option for anyone who needs a compact crossover that can go anywhere and do it with ease. NHTSA rated the vehicle highly and it is an IIHS Top Safety Choice. It is also available with a variety hybrid and electric powertrains.
