There are many options available if you are looking for a sound bar. The Bose Smart Soundbar 900 is a popular option, as well as the Sennheiser Ambeo (Sony HT-A5000). There are also a number of new models on the market, including the LG GX. But which model is the best one? Let's have a look at several of them to help you make a decision.
Sennheiser Ambeo
Sennheiser Ambeo soundbar is designed to support surround sound as well as a wide frequency range. It doesn't need a subwoofer or side speaker, making it an ideal choice to build a home theatre system. It supports Dolby Audio, DTS X and MPEG H audio. It can detect the acoustics and create an immersive soundscape.
Ambeo Soundbar includes six 4" long throw woofers, and two pairs of 1" tweeters. The speaker's unique shape makes it possible to project ambient noises in a room. It is not recommended for rooms that have high ceilings. For proper mapping, the speaker requires a flat surface.

Sony HT-A5000
Sony HT-5000 surround sound with 5.1.2 channels gives you a real-life experience. Its side beam tweeters and up-firing speakers create an immersive experience. It features an integrated dual subwoofer as well as advanced audio software technologies.
The Sony HT-A5000 sound bar is a mid-to-high-end option. It features Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay and Google Chromecast Audio. It also comes with an HDMI 2.1 connection. It supports PlayStation 5 and Auto Genre Picture Mode.
Bose Smart Soundbar 900
The Bose Smart Soundbar 900 is capable of high-end sound, but it falls short of a truly high-end home theatre experience. This model features nine speakers and Bose's PhaseGuide sound technology, which makes the sound more directional. Other options are available if quality matters more to you than entertainment.
Bose Smart Soundbar is 900's soundbar's treble sounds clear and uncluttered, making them a great choice in home entertainment. The stereo THD performance is great, but there is a small increase when the volume is increased to maximum. The soundbar also produces good stereo imaging and solid two-channel delivery. The soundbar also features a dedicated center speaker that allows for clear conversation.

LG GX
If you want to enjoy multidimensional sound, you can't go wrong with the LG GX sound bar. The 3.1 channel, hi-res soundbar fits flushly with your OLED television and is as thin or thick as the screen. It has Dolby atmos and DTSX technologies for multi-dimensional sound.
The LG Sound Bar GX can be quite costly and comes with a subwoofer and two HDMIs. Dolby Vision passthrough can be found on the soundbar, but it's not HDR10+ or 4K HDR. It also lacks a USB port and does not come with an inbuilt power supply.
